Abstract: This is the story of a young woman who goes to live in the palace of a fierce, ugly beast in order to save her father's life. She learns to love the beast because he is kind to her, and she has a happy surprise when she returns to the beast because she has learned that he will die if she does not go back as promised after a visit to her family.
